Sol Tracker ("the app") is a Solana wallet tracker for Android and the web, made by an independent developer ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes. In short: no accounts, no ads, no third-party tracking, and we never see your private keys. The app sends us a few basic usage statistics, described in section 3.
On this page
This policy covers the Sol Tracker Android app (package name com.sol.tracker) and the website at soltrackerapp.com.
1. Data we do not collect
- No sign-up or account: we don't ask for your name, email address, phone number or other personal details.
- No advertising or third-party analytics/tracking libraries are included in the app.
- We never record which wallets you look up, only that a lookup happened.
- We never have access to your private keys or seed phrase. When you connect a wallet, it stays in your wallet app (for example the Seeker wallet, Phantom or Solflare), and every transaction is shown to you and signed there.
- We do not sell or share data for advertising.
2. Data stored on your device
To work and to open faster, the app stores the following only on your device (in the app's private storage on Android, or your browser's local storage on the web):
- Wallet addresses and names (such as .skr or .sol) you have looked up, and the addresses those names resolved to.
- Saved snapshots of those wallets' public portfolio and transaction history.
- If you connect a wallet: its public address and the authorization token your wallet app issued for Sol Tracker.
You can remove a wallet by swiping it away in "Recent wallets", disconnect your wallet from the home screen, or delete everything by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it. On Android, your device's own backup service (for example Google backup) may include this data in your personal backup; we cannot access it.
3. Services the app talks to
Blockchain data is public. To show it, the app sends requests to the following services, which can see the request contents and your IP address and are governed by their own privacy policies:
- Our RPC endpoint (soltrackerapp.com/rpc, hosted on Netlify), which forwards requests to Helius, a Solana data provider. These requests include the wallet addresses you look up.
- Jupiter (jup.ag), to get token names, logos and prices. These requests include token addresses, not your wallet address.
- Token logo hosts: token logos are loaded from the web addresses listed in each token's metadata.
- Our website (Netlify), to download an optional list of protocols for the "Upcoming" tab.
- Supabase, where we store basic usage statistics (below).
Usage statistics. To understand how many people use Sol Tracker and which features they use, the app sends a short record to our database (hosted by Supabase) when you open the app, look up a wallet, connect a wallet, or clean up your wallet. Each record contains:
- a random ID created when the app is first opened (it is not linked to your name, phone or advertising ID; clearing the app's data creates a new one);
- the type of action and the time, plus the platform (Android or web);
- for a lookup: whether you entered an address or a name, not which one;
- only if you connect your own wallet: its public address, sent when you open the app, connect, or clean up (and, for a clean-up, how many accounts were closed or approvals revoked and the SOL returned).
Supabase also sees your IP address when receiving these records; we don't store it. We use these records only to count users and improve the app, never sell them, and delete them after 12 months. Disconnecting your wallet stops your address from being sent. To have records about your connected wallet deleted, contact us (section 7).
Netlify, Helius and Supabase may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and time of request) for operating and securing their services. We do not use these logs to identify you.
4. Public blockchain information
Wallet balances, tokens and transactions on Solana are public by design. Anything you do on-chain, including transactions you approve from the app, is permanently visible to anyone, independent of this app.
5. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
6. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
